Memorable Moments

We have been making memories with our Memorable Events. This term we have made and flown kites.

We have been learning to sew.

Farmer Lee came to school with his tractor and we found out how the tractor works and what Farmer Lee does in his job.

We went on a coach to Otley and Easton Farm where we met lots of animals and even stroked a lamb. We learned how to look after animals.

We watched a show called The Railway Children. We listened so carefully and remembered the main characters and events.

Music 29.1.16

We have been very musical today!

Here is a selection of photos of Class 1 exploring different recorders, a cello and Amelia T's guitar!  All photos will be going into Learning Journeys.  We hope you like the photos as much as the children liked the instruments!

Thank you,

Nicola Gordon, Emma Sullivan and Jackie Fisher

Hello Class 1 and families,

We have had another wonderful week with Class 1!  It has been busy as ever, and we even had a trip to the War Memorial...thank you to the whole class for behaving so brilliantly.

Our Star of the Week is Myla for her lovely singing during the rehearsals of our play, 'The Grumpy Sheep'.  We have lots of songs to learn, some of which are quite long, and Myla gave her all to each song.  Well done!
